Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio - Fine Grain Asset Control
Overview
Problem
When data owners grant subscription access to data assets, they only could provide access to the whole table. Competing platforms, as well as other AWS Services, allowed for “fine-grain access control,” allowing the data owner to decide which specific rows and columns a subscriber could see. Some data owners were creating multiple versions of an asset just to serve this use case.
Goal
Allow data owners to customize the visible row and columns per subscriber, allowing the data owner to maintain a single version of the asset.
